Help & FAQ
Quick fixes for the usual hiccups.
Ninety percent of problems end here. For everything else, message Alex in your Discord channel — that's always the right move.
Video keeps buffering or looks blurry
- Try another movie or show first — if that one plays fine, the first title may just need a minute.
- Check your own internet: run a speed test or try another app. Most buffering is local Wi-Fi.
- In the Plex app, open Settings → Video quality and set streaming quality to Original / Maximum. The server has fast fiber upload — high quality usually plays smoother than it sounds like it should.
- Still stuck? Use /report-issue in your Discord channel.
How do I turn on subtitles?
- While something is playing, tap the screen, then tap the speech-bubble / settings icon.
- Choose Subtitles → English (or your language, when available).
- Plex remembers the choice per show, so you usually set it once.
The Stork-Host libraries disappeared
Plex sometimes unpins shared libraries after an app update. They're not gone — they just need to be pinned again:
- Open More → Libraries (TV) or the sidebar (phone/computer), find Stork-Host, and pin its libraries.
- The short videos on the How to join guide show exactly where to tap on a TV or computer.
Sign-in trouble
- Sign out of the Plex app completely, then sign back in with the same account you joined with.
- On a TV, plex.tv/link is the easiest way in: the TV shows a short code, and you type it on your phone.
- If Plex says you don't have access, message Alex in Discord — renewals and invites are sorted there in minutes.
Want something that isn't here?
Search the library on the homepage first — if it's missing, request it with a credit in your Discord channel. The requesting guide covers how credits work.
Payments and renewals
Plans, prices, and how to pay live on the plans & payment page. You'll get a Discord reminder 3 days before your plan expires, and your private channel shows your time left any time with /time-left.
When in doubt, Discord. Your private channel reaches Alex directly — nothing is too small to ask.
